SPECtacular Style Event
A style evening was organised by Eye Connexion on Thursday the 6th of June where the style guru from Thrive with Colour, Cheryl Insley was invited to give a talk on personal styling and colour analysis. The event was the first of its kind in Frimley, Camberley and was very well received by our patients and the local residents.
Cheryl gave a talk on colour analysis and gave a demo to various members of the audience by throwing colour aprons and showing which palette of colours will suite their skin type.
The event was supported by a few selected suppliers, which included Eyespace, Ray-Ban, and Zeiss. We are really thankful to Lucas from Eyespace for bringing their range of Defender, Aspinal from London and Cocoa Mint frames. Ray-Ban and Zeiss were really generous in supporting our event with a free frame and lenses for the luck draw winners of the raffle.
Overall we received a positive response from people who attended and supported our event. This event has give us the base to plan and launch more exciting events in the future.

Surrey Heath Age Concern
Our chosen charity for 2023-2024 is Surrey Heath Age Concern (SHAC). A raffle was held at the event to raise funds for the charity. There were two winners of the event who walked away with a free pair of Ray-Ban glasses and free lenses from Zeiss.
The charity was represented by Sarah Jane Croke, who is also the ex-mayor of Surrey Health.
